I’m a fast-improving ~1500 rated player on Chess.com who has trained consistently and developed a clear improvement system based on what actually works for club-level chess. My teaching style is simple, clear, and practical — focused on understanding, not memorization.

Hi! I’m a fast-improving chess player and coach who loves helping beginners and intermediate players build a strong, practical foundation and actually enjoy getting better at chess.

I currently play around the ~1500 level on Chess.com and have made rapid progress through consistent training, structured study, and game analysis. I teach based on what has truly worked for me, focusing on clear plans and simple systems such as the London System and the King’s Indian Defense, so students can play confidently without memorizing tons of theory.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and motivating. I work especially well with students who want to improve steadily, cut down on common mistakes, and gain real confidence at the board. Lessons are personalized so each student feels supported and challenged at the right level.

Whether you’re just starting out, helping your child learn chess, or stuck at a plateau, my goal is to make lessons fun, encouraging, and effective while building habits and thinking skills that lead to long-term improvement.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons.
