Biology is a vast subject relevant to many fields. I can provide explanations of biological concepts for people with no background (i.e. if you need it for your work), for school students struggling with their lessons, and for students interested in biology who would like to pick a medical or biological career. I can also help with understanding biology holistically, not being separated into seemingly unrelated areas like "botany" or "anatomy". In my experience, this helps with remembering facts better, understanding the concepts, applying your knowledge to the everyday life problems and falling in love with biology.

I like to build up my teaching plan based on my student's goals and previous experiences. Each student is unique in their learning habits and how to successfully acquire and retain information, so I am trying my best to be mindful of that. I strive to make my students' experience in learning biology wholesome, fun and memorable. At the same time, I prefer a systematic approach where facts fall into a clear order of concepts and events in the history of life. I always try to showcase the beauty of the natural world in my teaching style and to spark interest in the subject that would go beyond the simple goal of just memorising the information needed for exams.

I graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, gaining an MSc diploma in Biology with a Biochemistry major in 2015. Right now I am continuing my education in the PhD program of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology

I taught biology to pre-med students for three years in one of the top schools in Moscow, which led to my students successfully passing their exams and state competitions.
