Hello, my name is Aldana, I am a music teacher and professional guitarist. While playing guitar is my passion, being a teacher is one of my favorite aspects of my role as a musician.

In me you will find a person who believes that we are all capable of learning to play an instrument, that it is never too late to do so, and who will be willing to guide you through the process of learning to play the guitar with patience, knowledge, perseverance, organization and above all... Fun!

My classes will be 100% personalized to your preferences, musical interests, time, and objectives. We will use resources such as videos, graphics, images, games, tablature (or sheet music if you are interested in learning to read music in a conventional way), and more.

In addition, at the end of each class, you will receive online notes, where you will be able to get a summary of the material worked on in the class, which you will have access to even if you are no longer taking lessons with me.
We will work not only on the technique of the instrument but also on ear training, analysis, composition, and music theory. And focusing all of that on your personal and artistic expression through the guitar.

My ultimate goal is that you can enjoy learning and can make this beautiful instrument a means to communicate everything you have inside you.

Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you get tired less quickly when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower notes.

During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. Of course you decide what kind of music you will sing. Whether you sing alone in the shower or whether you are in a choir and encounter certain difficulties in general or with a specific piece? Please feel free to bring your choir part to class and we will see together how we can make this easier for you. We work on repertoire that you love. We can also make a journey of discovery together to your favorite music.

WHO CAN LEARN TO SING?
Everyone can learn to sing. Because of the singing lessons you will notice that singing becomes easier. Moreover, singing is good for relaxation, both of body and mind. Singing is just enjoying!

YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT
As a singer you already have one advantage over instrumentalists: you do not have to buy an (expensive) instrument. You always have your instrument with you, but... you have to take good care of your instrument!

During the lessons we can cover the genres rock, pop, funk, jazz, blues and everything in between.
The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. Knowledge of solfège is not required.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like.

Therefore I adapt my teaching methodologies to the tastes and needs of every student. Throughout every lesson, we will work on three main courses of development: technical aspects, theoretical knowledge, and performative practice.

Hey!
My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels.

For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that!
Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;)

I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.

The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.

I am a conservatory-educated guitar teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience who has recently moved to Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. I am fluent in English, Dutch, and French, and have extensive experience teaching both one-to-one lessons and classroom settings.

I have a long track record of preparing students for graded examinations such as ABRSM and Trinity, with students regularly achieving merit or distinction. At the same time, lessons can also be tailored to students who simply want to learn for enjoyment or personal development.
