Ich bin ein professioneller Gitarren- und Klavierlehrer, der in Boston lebt und Online-Unterricht für alle Schüler anbietet, die über eine gute Internetverbindung verfügen.
Ich staatlich anerkannter Instrumentalpädagoge und Profimusiker und fühle mich wohl Schüler jeden Alters ab 5 Jahren zu unterrichten.

Im Laufe der Jahre haben mich meine Erfahrungen als professioneller Musiker, sowohl im Unterricht als auch auf Tourneen gelehrt, dass wir alle unterschiedlich und einzigartig in unserem Musikgeschmack sind. Wir alle lieben unterschiedliche Dinge an Musik - daher habe ich mich im Lauf der Jahre zu einem sehr flexiblen Lehrer entwickelt, der auf alle Schüler eingehen kann, unabhängig von deren persönlichen Zielen.

Musik ist eine eigene einzigartige Sprache! Es ist wichtig, die Grundlagen zu verstehen, damit wir eine solide Grundlage schaffen können, auf der Du wachsen und Dich entwickeln kannst. Meine Hauptlehrmethode besteht darum darin, Dir die Lieder beizubringen, die Du liebst. Tatsächlich halte ich es für fast obligatorisch, Lieder zu lernen, die Du liebst – schließlich willst Du sie deshalb lernen, richtig?

I teach electric and acoustic guitar in many guitar based genres of music, including every type of rock music and pop music, blues and funk, etc. Lessons I offer are tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each individual student. If you are a beginner and don't have all the equipment, don't worry, I own several guitars, two guitar amplifiers and many effect pedals, so even if you don't have all the equipment yourself we can have a fully productive lesson at my home.

Naast een opleiding klassieke gitaar, behaalde ik als uitvoerend muzikant een master in jazz en hedendaagse muziek. Ik heb in Parijs en Londen gewoond, met fantastische muzikanten gespeeld en geef nu ruim 25 jaar les aan jongeren en volwassenen in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.

Stijl en niveau van de lessen zijn uiteraard afhankelijk van de student. De één wil zingen en zichzelf kunnen begeleiden, de ander wil leren improviseren. Blues, rock, funk, soul, fusion, flamenco, hiphop, mambo, reggae, folk, bossa, disco, ska, samba, tango, klassiek, pop ... geen probleem, waar het om gaat is dat je plezier hebt in het spelen.

Ik zal transcripties maken van je favoriete muziek en laten zien hoe je die kan spelen, een degelijke techniek aanleren zodat je steeds verder kunt en theorie geven in kleine stapjes zodat je kan zien hoe het allemaal in elkaar past.

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject.

Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Eyal has taught hundreds of students over the past 15 years, both guitar and piano next to music theory and composition. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including rock, blues, jazz, classical music, electronic music and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach, which can be adjusted to every student separately.

Gemotiveerde gitaristen die op zoek zijn naar evolutie in hun speelwijze, of een bredere kijk op hun spel willen. With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CD’s/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I’ve come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts.

I’ve been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I’m 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department.

I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won’t waste your time! Also I’m a fun and very empathic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!!

Hi there,

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 and was immediately hooked. Within a year I started playing in youth bands and projects, and during high school I moved to a music school where I began performing with bands and teaching guitar to kids as my first job. I later completed two bachelor’s degrees, the second in jazz guitar, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since then I’ve been working full time as a session guitarist, songwriter, and musical director with artists like Karsu, Alain Clark, Ruth Jacott, Jennie Lena, and many others, as well as releasing my own music as an independent artist under my stage name Jessy Hay. I’m extremely passionate about music theory, ear training, and music history, and I try to combine all of these with practical approaches to create a complete package for guitar enthusiasts.

Over the years I’ve developed many methods and seen hundreds of students grow from being stuck on the instrument to becoming full-on improvisers and composers across many genres. I love to combine the theory and improvisation I’ve learned from jazz, together with the groove and rhythm from funk and soul, the attitude from rock, and the production and songwriting skills from pop music. I’m also very interested in Middle Eastern music, for students who want to explore other scales, Maqams, and musical languages. Lessons usually start by discussing the student’s goals and current level, followed by exercises and pieces tailored to their needs. I also provide guidance on instrument setup, tone, and technique, to ensure a solid foundation. My aim is to give students a full 360° view of music: understanding the language, knowing what you’re doing, and developing your own ways of improving by becoming more familiar with both the instrument and the musical language itself.
