Mi nombre es Germán Cañete. Soy músico docente diplomado en Prof. y Lic. en Composición Musical de la Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Con el transcurso de las clases te iré guiando para que puedas realizar tus propias producciones con la tecnología que tengas al alcance o bien si ya tienes conocimiento, ayudarte a producir y desarrollar tus proyectos.

Mi nombre es Germán y he dedicado gran parte de mi vida al estudio del campo musical. En todos estos años -no solo de estudio sino también de oficio- he desarrollado un concepto de trabajo basado en lo empírico sobre la práctica común de los diferentes estilos musicales y usos estilísticos. Por eso es que más allá del trabajo creativo de un artista de cualquier índole, el foco está en como analizar y deconstruir el resultado de su obra para poder comprender y así ampliar los modos de abordar una estética musical.
La tecnología y los tiempos actuales hacen que cualquier persona posea herramientas para poder producir su música. Por eso estoy para ayudarte a lograr encontrar tu sonido y poder así construir y desarrollar tu propio estilo.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

Esta clase introduce los conceptos fundamentales de la composición cinematográfica y cómo la música moldea la historia, la emoción y la narrativa en cine y televisión. Los estudiantes aprenderán a apoyar y mover imágenes a través de la música, explorando el ritmo, la atmósfera, el tema y la estructura. El curso también incluye el análisis y la deconstrucción de bandas sonoras cinematográficas existentes para comprender las técnicas de composición y las estrategias narrativas.
