Hello, my name is Mhay. I am 23 years old and currently residing in the Philippines. I graduated Cumlaude in my degree, Bachelor of Secondary Education-English Major. I also took my licensure examination which I passed, making me a Licensed Professional Teacher now. In addition to that, I also obtained my TEFL Certificate. I always have a deep-seated passion for teaching, which I think one of the most important factors in teaching because I believe that if you have the love for education, it creates a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages students to thrive.

I graduated with a Latin Honor in my course, Bachelor of Secondary Education - Major in English in year 2023. I also took Courses in MOOCs which are related in my degree.

Native from the Philippines offers an individualized pedagogy to learn the languages of the Philippines: Tagalog and/or Cebuano/Bisaya. My goal is to promote the languages of the Philippines in Europe, in general and in France, helping future Filipino tourists learn the language before traveling to the Philippines, as well as helping European Filipinos learn the language of their parents.

In this course, we will cover the basics of the Filipino language: pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Various activities will be organized to promote mastery of sentence construction and improvement of the power of words. Cultural contributions will be included such as fiesta celebrations, food, songs and lifestyle.
