We beginnen de eerste les met het opmaken van concrete doelen die de leerling heeft voor deze taal en van welk lesmateriaal u het liefst gebruik maakt. Dit kan heel verschillend zijn per persoon. Gaat het om bijlessen bij een bepaalde cursus, dan pas ik mijn lessen daarop aan. Gaat het om het bijscholen van algemene kennis, dan stel ik zelf mijn lessen op aan de hand van het tempo van de leerling en welke kennis er reeds gekend is. Ik werk vaak per thema's, maar ook zeker kijk ik naar de relevantie van de leerstof. Hoe vaker en hoe meer besproken in de dagdagelijkse gesprekken van deze taal, hoe sneller deze dus aan bod zal komen. Zodanig dat er een goede basis gebouwd wordt om verder op te bouwen, en zodanig dat de lessen al snel volledig in te te leren taal kunnen doorgaan. Het constant horen en spreken van de taal in kwestie is wat mij betreft de snelste en meest effeciënte methode om de taal onder de knie te krijgen. Uiteraard is deze methode zeer afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de leerling. De lessen gan bij voorkeur online door. Indien niet mogelijk, kan ik binnen een straal van 3km rond Gent ook ter plaatse komen.

Hoi iedereen!
Ik ben Stien, 24 jaar en studente in Gent. Al sinds jongs af aan ben ik bezig met taal. Mijn moedertaal is Nederlands, daarnaast spreek ik ook vloeiend Engels en Spaans. Bijde talen heb ik geleerd dankzij het volgen van een uitwisselingsproject in het buitenland. Op mijn 17e vertrok in voor een half jaar naar de Verenigde Staten om Engels te leren en bij thuiskomst kriebelde het om ook Spaans te leren. Ik begon vol goede moed aan lessen Spaans, maar al snel vond ik het niet snel genoeg gaan en vertrok ik op mijn 19e naar Spanje. Eerst om te werken als au-pair voor enkele maanden, daarna om er te studeren. Tijdens het semester dat ik daar studeerde gaf ik Engelse les aan Spaanstaligen en volgde ik zelf ook Spaanse les gegeven door Engelstaligen. Deze ervaringen hebben om gevoel voor taal, maar ook mijn motivatie en goesting om deze talen door te geven aan anderen enorm vergroot.
Daarom besloot ik dat ik graag wilde starten met het geven van bijlessen, Engels, Spaans en Nederlands. Ik heb aan zowel kinderen als volwassenen Spaans gegeven in Salamanca, dus heb zeker genoeg ervaring om met jou aan de slag te gaan en samen te kijken wat het concrete doel is, hoe we het gaan aanpakken en ik bied efficiente lessen aan die je met grote sprongen vooruit zullen helpen.
Mogelijk voor zowel scholieren als anderen geïnteresseerden, kinderen waarvan hun moedertaal niet Nederlands is of lagere schoolkinderen waarvan u de Engelse of Spaanse taal om wat voor reden dan ook aan te leren aan uwzelf of uw kind.
Ik kijk heel erg uit je te ontmoeten! Lessen gaan bij voorkeur online door, lukt dit niet, dan kan ik uiteraard ter plaatse komen of kunnen we elders afspreken.

Vier maanden Engelse les gegeven in Salamalca in de 'Hello! Salamanca School'. Daarnaast enkele maanden als au-pair gewerkt in Cadíz, Zuid-Spanje en daar heb ik de kinderen van de familie bijles Engels gegeven.
