Learn or practice German with an experienced native speaker teacher from Austria, beginners to advanced classes. Prepare for taking the Goethe Certificates, especially A1-B2. I am a very patient teacher, and my classes are fun but can also be challenging, if the student wishes so.
In class we will talk a lot, and I will find the right mix of speaking, listening, writing, grammar and pronunciation exercises that fits you, the student, best. I cater to every student's individual needs, as my students always come first!

I am a native speaker of German from Austria with almost 10 years of experience teaching German in Taiwan, from private language school to university level, group classes and one-on-one classes. I am also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and teach Chinese for beginners with a passion!
I am convinced that learning languages doesn't need to be hard and exhausting. It should be fun, and my method in class is an easy-going, student-centered, modern, but also very patient approach to learning a new language, whether it is German or Chinese. We will talk a lot, and I will find the right mix of speaking, listening, writing, grammar and pronunciation exercises that fits you, the student, best. Because you, my student, will always come first! Your goal is, of course, also my goal. As I myself have learned several languages (and am still learning), I understand the needs of a language student not only from the teacher's but also from the student's perspective.
My way into teaching was not a straight one. I never really wanted to be a teacher. But then fate presented me with the option of standing in front of a class at the German department of a Taiwanese university - and I fell in love with the profession. I took classes at the German Goethe Institute and learned the methodology and didactics of teaching German as a foreign language, and started my first job as a German teacher. So here I am now, a language teacher out of passion, ready to serve my students! :-)
