Let me introduce myself. My name is Maroua, and I hold a Master's degree in linguistic, Literature, Civilizitation, and Italian Language which I obtained in Italy.
During my time in Italy, where I lived for 10 years I had the privilege of teaching Italian to foreigners.
Additionally, I would like to share that I am a native French/Arabic speaker.
While my primary expertise lies in teaching languages, including French, Italian and Arabic, I am also highly proficient in various other subjects that extend beyond language instruction. Over the course of my career, I have successfully taught Humanities (literature, history, civilization) and numerous other school subjects.

I work with a variety of online resources, all of which is shared with you after the lesson. For structure and to evaluate progress, I also work with certain books depending on the level and the requirement. I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.
In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

If your child is having difficulties in school, I would love to be able to help them overcome them.
I had the opportunity to work in several non-profit organizations (Schola ULB, Youth Club, CIFA, ABEF) where I helped young adolescents understand their subject in French. I also helped them prepare for their exams, including the CEB and CE1D.
We will work together on their lessons, we will review the vocabulary and grammar they need to know and we will work on their difficulties in order to overcome them.
