The English Language is so much more than just learning and practicing English vocabulary. In these classes we will look at a variety of different topics including:

Pronunciation - This is really important if you want to be easily understood by other English speakers. We can look at each of the English sounds in turn or focus specifically on sounds you find difficult.

Grammar - In these classes we specifically focus on the practical details of English grammar - the things that will help you to have natural conversations in every day life. Grammar doesn't have to be difficult, we will make it fun and understandable. We will focus mainly on English verb tenses, modal verbs and prepositions.

English idioms - As native English speakers we use a lot of idioms! Idioms are a huge part of the English language and a really fun thing to learn. In these lessons we will learn about the idioms that are commonly used, what they mean and where the idiom originally came from. Most importantly we will look at when and how to use idioms - understanding how to use idioms correctly is vital for sounding more like a native speaker.

Phrasal verbs - Another big key to speaking the English language naturally is using phrasal verbs. Similar to idioms, some of these phrasal verbs are unique to native speakers and knowing when to use and when not to use them will enhance your ability and confidence speaking English!

These 'How to Sound like a Native Speaker' classes are completely flexible, you can choose to just focus on one specific area or we can look at a combination of all four areas!
