Hola! Soy Compositor profesional con más de 10 años de experiencia en creación musical y en la enseñanza de este arte maravilloso. En este curso te ofrezco el aprendizaje de tres campos musicales: teoría (armonía, ritmo, contrapunto, forma, instrumentación, textura, construcción melódica, entre otros), composición musical para varios formatos; y composición de Música Cinematográfica. Para los tres campos de aprendizaje abordaremos diferentes técnicas y modelos que han sido empleados a través de la historia de la música; adicional a ello en el plan de trabajo se incluirán ejemplos musicales, visuales y cinematográficos que propongas a lo largo del curso. También abordaremos el aprendizaje de programas y software gratuito especializado en audio digital para crear tus propias obras a partir de bancos de sonidos virtuales. A nivel general la propuesta de mis clases se caracteriza por inicialmente entender tus objetivos y gustos artísticos para de esta manera crear una perspectiva y metodología individual la cual evoque tu estilo y expresividad artística propia.
Esta clase es para todos los niveles de aprendizaje musical; ya sea que estés iniciando en el mundo de la música o tengas un nivel avanzado, el curso será moldeado a tus intereses y objetivos que desees desarrollar y alcanzar.

Soy Licenciado en Música de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá-Colombia). Recientemente terminé mi Maestría en Composición Musical en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México con un proyecto de tesis enfocado en la creación de Música para Cine a partir de una metodología propia. Mis objetivos se centran en la creación musical a partir de técnicas que abarcan desde el estilo clásico hasta la exploración libre artística contemporánea.
Como profesor tengo seis años de experiencia en teoría y composición musical; preparando estudiantes para ingresar a instituciones de Educación Superior.
En los últimos años mi carrera musical se ha centrado en la creación musical de obras sinfónicas, proyectos cinematográficos y videojuegos. He realizado varios cursos, talleres y diplomados enfocados en Sonido y Música para Cine, así como también en Estética Cinematográfica. También tuve la oportunidad de participar en dos ediciones del Bogota International Film Festival (2018 y 2021), en donde fui seleccionado para componer una de las secciones del Cine Concierto del re-estreno de la película francesa de 1924 L'Inhumaine.
En los seis años que llevo de profesor de Fundamentos y Composición he comprendido que no existe una única metodología para abordar la Composición y Teoría musical.
Es por esto que a nivel general la propuesta de mis clases se caracteriza por inicialmente entender tus objetivos y gustos artísticos para de esta manera hacer un plan de trabajo especial y único, en donde se aborde la teoría (armonía, ritmo, contrapunto, forma, instrumentación, textura, construcción melódica, entre otros) y la creación musical a partir de una perspectiva individual la cual evoque tu estilo y expresividad artística propia.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

Lecciones especializadas en la comprensión y construcción de maqams árabes (Rast, Bayat, Hijaz, Saba, Kurd, Ajam, etc.), con explicaciones de géneros musicales, cuartos de tono, transiciones de maqam y aplicación práctica en canto y ejecución.
