Finding Your Voice: An Intro to Poetry from The Soul (Week 1)
Van 26.13 € /h
Every writer has a unique writing voice that is deeply connected to lived experience. This weekly exploratory public program will engage participants in both theatre-based embodied practices and writing exercises designed to assist them in tapping into a deeper process of crafting poetry.
The progression of the program will be as follows:
Week 1- A brief exploration of the questions, "What is a poem?", “What makes a good poet?” and "Why do write poetry?". Participants will bring their favorite selection of poetry to discuss why they feel connected to both the writing and the poet. This is in preparation for Week 2.
