Hello!
I'm a 24 year old violinist and I love sharing my passion for music with others. I received my first violin lessons at the age of 5 and ever since my passion for this instrument has been leading me to towards discovering new grounds and connecting with musicians from all over the world.
I am currently studying at Luca School of Arts in Leuven. I have previously studied at Fontys Academy of Music, The Netherlands.
In 2020 I obtained a violin performance and pedagogy diploma at the National School of Arts, Bulgaria.
I have experience with teaching kids, as well as adults, and I get along with my students very well :)

Have fun learning your favourite songs and playing guitar. We offer tailor-made online guitar lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. All lessons are customized to your skills and goals goals.

Lessons are centered around two principles:
1. Teaching the basics of guitar technique: reading notes/tabs, analysis of melody and harmony, ear training
2. An open approach focused on learning to play your favourite songs

Levels:
Beginners will first learn the basics, such as tuning, posture, basic technique, reading tablature, and playing elementary chords. After ten lessons you will be able to play basic chords and single-note melodies. You will already be able to play your favourite music!
If you are already a more advanced player we will work on improving specific technical and musical skills such as soloing, improving your sound, and learning genre-specific techniques.

Guitar Styles:
You can choose almost any music style you want to play: Pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, flamenco, and classical.

Having difficulty with guitar lessons in English? Don't worry: lessons can be held in German, Italian, French and Dutch

Before saying who I am, I would like to first address my to be fellows who wish to join me in this beautiful journey of Music.

I am offering personalized Piano sessions (indeed interactive sessions and not just lessons) for various age groups and levels in 5 languages (English, Russian, Czech, Spanish and German).
. Furthermore, I invite your peer or parents to join.

For your ease, I have tried to summarize all necessary information in below points:

- You are very welcomed to acquire skills on Classical Piano playing as well as basic Jazz and modern music
- I will adapt the techniques, guidance and suggestions as per your expectation, level and understanding

Who I am?

I had a great interest in music since my childhood and I knew that its the only way for me. I am a classical pianist with 17 years of experience. I am graduate of Prague Conservatory and Conservatory Jsroslav Jezek, from where I obtained the college degree. I am as well alumni of Conservatori Liceu (Barcelona, Spain). After two years of BA music degree at Consrvatori Liceu, I switched to Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, where I am pursuing my university degree currently.

During my tenure I have participated in many competitions, such as The Wiener Klassik International Competition in Vienna, Sergei Prokofiev's International Piano Competition in Prague, International Piano Competition in Cøpenhagen, Györ and many more.
Also, I am active as a concertmaster. Some of the highlights are, concerts in Belgium(Brussels, Namur), Prague, Cøpenhagen, Vienna, Györ, Barcelona, Badalona and Nürnberg. Furthermore I am an active chamber musician.

I am giving private lessons since 2013.

I teach children from 5 years old and adults, beginners and advanced. Reading music is integrated with learning to play the piano.
My piano technique is according to Jose Iturbi's method.
To learn to play I work for beginners with the piano method of Nancy and Randall Faber: Piano Adventures.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway.

The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them.

It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old.

Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

I have been teaching for more than 15 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.
I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.

Hello,

My name is Joris, I'm a saxophonist and conductor.
As a saxophonist I obtained a Master degree with great distinction from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, won the second prize at the national Lion's European Music Competition and already played as a soloist with orchestras like the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides.
I'm currently following a Master degree in Music Theory and Conducting at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
I started conducting when I was 18 and highlights of my career thus far include a selection as one of only 24 candidates for the conducting contest at the World Music Contest Kerkrade last summer. Furthermore I have had the opportunity to work with professional orchestra's like MAV Symphony in Budapest, the North Czech Philharmonic, the President's Own United States Marine Band, the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra amongst others.

If you want to follow lessons with me, feel free to contact me. I'm a very logical person, I always analyze everything I do, which makes it very easy for me to teach and explain something I learned to others. My conducting background also forced me to develop a very concise way of giving feedback and to be very efficient and clear, which is crucial to the quick development of students.

A seasoned and passionate musician since the age of 15, I gave my first lessons more than 10 years ago. I am an excellent pedagogue, and I adapt to the level of the student, whether in terms of technical mastery of the instrument, ability to read notes (or tablature), as well as understanding music theory and of the theory. I put myself at the service of the student, his level and his tastes and musical projects. I have a thorough knowledge of music theory, particularly in jazz, and a long experience of playing together (jazz, rock and progressive metal). I can thus provide the theoretical elements necessary for the student to fully appropriate his instrument, at his own pace, and be able to play in a group, invent bass lines, improvise and compose pieces.

The bass is the most important instrument in a musical ensemble, whether in jazz, rock, blues, funk, metal or pop. She is the benchmark for all other musicians, she defines both rhythm and harmony, and she literally makes the bodies of the listeners vibrate.

Here is some information about me:

I obtained my master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts as a solo violinist, as well as in chamber music.
Since 2018 I have held a position in the 2nd Violin Group of the Belgian National Orchestra in Brussels.
As an enthusiastic chamber music player, I play regularly and give concerts with different ensembles in Belgium as the Brussels String Quartet.
Teaching and sharing with you all my music knowledge has a very important role in my life.
My research on how to deal with stress on stage is another topic that I find essential and very helpful for everyone who has some issues and wants to improve in that way.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.

- a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

My name is Jose and I am currently an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo.
