I am currently in my final year of studying a musical theatre course at the Waterfront Theatre School.
My modules include jazz, tap, modern, ballet, vocal training, drama, improvisation, television presenting, emotional and acting technique, context, and musical theatre technique.
When I graduate from the intensive training course, I will receive an internationally recognised Trinity college diploma.
My goal is ultimately to be a successful musical theatre performer on the West End in London.

I am currently training under Adele Strombeck - “South Africa’s leading vocal coach” as her apprentice.
I have been teaching singing to students for the last 3 years and will take over from Adele when she retires.

Tutoring:
I have been a registered tutor with Entropic Tutors since 2018.
I have tutored students ranging from grade 1-12 level in all subjects. Throughout 2017 I tutored a matric student in history once a week. He achieved an 80% in his final exam and increase by 15% from 2016-2017.
In 2019 I tutored another matric student in history and he attained 93% for his final exam.
I tutored a little girl in grade 5 in all her subjects and helped her go from a D average to an A average in just 7 months.
I currently tutor 8 matric students in preparation for their final exams as well as a grade 5 boy in maths.

Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . As a recent graduate of Mountview and having worked in the industry for five years, I would love to now share my passion for acting!

In my classes, I would like to give the student as much freedom as possible. The student can bring a piece of text they would like to work on or I can suggest material. We will explore different methods of getting to the truth of the character whilst also making sure to analyze the text to best represent what the writer has written.
Dependent on the level and what the student wants from the lessons, we will talk about targets, objectives and many more important concepts when analyzing a character and piece of text. My passion in acting is to find the truth of the character but also to allow for the actors' unique personality and experience to bring interesting choices to their work and, ultimately, to have fun and enjoy this incredible way to tell a story !

My classes are open to all ages and levels. I have five years of experience working with children and teenagers through being an actor and workshop leader on Theatre In Education tours. Recently I started working as an after school drama club teacher and producer and realized how much I enjoyed sharing and working with others on the skills of an actor and performer.

What is acting ? Acting does seem like a nebulous and abstract art form to many people, including many of its practicioners. Why do we sometimes get on stage and feel so alive, yet other times we try and replicate our idea of what great acting is, or a memory of how it once felt, and we cannot help but fall flat on our faces ? How do we reliably access our innermost expression within our performance and touch our audience in a meaningful way ?

These are questions that an actor/performer should ask themselves every single day. And the truth is that the answer is ever-changing. There is no magic trick to enhancing the expression of our soul, but we certainly can continually learn to understand ourselves better, so that every time we perform, something miraculous and unexpected happens.

Warning : I do not pretend to teach a fool-proof "method". My approach is the result of countless years of searching for truth, honesty and athenticity within performance and acting. Drama clubs, Acting drop ins, Conservatoires, Private coaching... You name it, I've done it. All have its perks but I have found that more tailored training is by far the most beneficial.
