I just finished up studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Solvay Brussels School in Belgium and have also spent years living in Asia, and other parts of western Europe. I specialize in essay writing, grammar, pronunciation, and speaking practice.

With my English classes, we really focus on putting vocabulary in action, with homemade lesson plans that inspire conversation, debate, and chat. For lower-level students, we can practice the grammatical issues of English while improving our vocab and competency. For German, I tackle the subject as a language learner, catering the class to the needs of the students' level. We start small and build big, learning the language and German culture as we go!

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.
