You can sign for regular lessons (weekly, monthly) or take an individual lesson - I can tutor you in all stages of your compositional process, from sketching ideas and notation to strategies for rehearsing your music. - I am able to see value in compositions regardless of style and technique. Hi! I am a pianist and a piano teacher who started his teaching journey in 2016 at The Znojmo Music Institute in the Czech Republic, while being a student of Conservatory in Brno. I have experience with teaching all age cathegories and I am excited to become your piano tutor no matter if you start from the very beginning or you just want to improve your skills. The main goal of the lessons is developing a warm relationship with music and improving your skills while having fun with musicmaking. On-line lessons are also possible! About me: I am a classically trained pianist who is in the final stages of completing his Master's degree at The Sibelius Academy. I started my piano education at the age of 5. Throughout my studies, I have successfully participated in numerous international competitions and have performed in a multitude of countries worldwide, including the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, Serbia, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Israel, Latvia, and others. These performances have showcased both my solo endeavors and collaborations with orchestras and various chamber ensembles.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist with 14 years of teaching experience and over 23 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved the highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist in orchestra (also as a harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

Learn the most common chords and be able to play your first song after just 1 lesson! You will build a solid foundation in guitar playing through carefully selected songs that you get to choose from. Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, you get to tell me which songs you want to learn during our lessons to expand your skills and become more proficient, and I will teach you how to read and play your favorite songs like a master! After learning the more common chords and basics of guitar playing, you will learn about strumming patterns, finger picking, and tabs through the songs of your choice. One benefit of this technological world is that we can find almost anything online if we know where and how to look, which includes most of our favorite songs. All you have to do is give me the names of songs you would like to play, and I will work my magic to help you achieve that goal.
