Hello I’m Alessandro D’Anna, drummer from Italy, based in Helsinki and I can offer private drum lesson for jazz, rock, Latin music, pop and more... I’ve toured in my life with Grammy jazz artist as Mark Gross, Joel Holmes, Benito Gonzalez, Essiet Essiet and many more. I’ve been teaching and doing masterclasses of drums all over the world: United States, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Mexico, and more.
My program suits every levels from beginner to Intermediate (I speak fluently English, a bit of Spanish and my native language is Italian).
Topics of my drum lessons:
- history of the instrument and genres
- basic coordination, posture and stick control
- technique (wrist and finger stroke control, Muller technique and more)
- studying rudiments and their application
- how to read music and drum notation
- studies of sound and dynamic on the instrument applied to genres
- building studying routine

- special focus on jazz music and rock progressive
