¡Hola! Me llamo Arantxa y soy de Castellón, una pequeña ciudad de la Comunidad Valenciana. Durante mi licenciatura en la universidad, profundicé en dos áreas que siempre han sido de especial interés para mí: la lengua y la literatura. De hecho, durante mi año de Erasmus, tuve la oportunidad de ser asistente de lengua española en la Universidad de Cardiff (Gales), impartiendo clases de conversación y dando apoyo tanto a profesores como a pequeños grupos de estudiantes. Además, también fui voluntaria enseñando español (nivel de alfabetización) a grupos de adultos en Barcelona. También he realizado mis prácticas de máster enseñando inglés y preparando a los estudiantes para sus exámenes de certificación en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (EOI) en España. Este último curso académico, estuve trabajando como auxiliar de conversación en español en un instituto de Dublín 2 y también trabajé como profesora de español en Valencia.
Las clases que ofrezco se adaptan a las necesidades de cada alumno a la vez que proporcionan metodologías amenas y dinámicas. En este sentido, mi principal objetivo en estas clases no es sólo que los alumnos consigan sus objetivos (aprobar un certificado de idiomas, mejorar sus notas o sus habilidades lingüísticas) sino también que descubran las grandes ventajas de aprender un nuevo idioma y acaben disfrutando de su proceso de aprendizaje. Hi! My name is Arantxa and I’m from Castellón, a small city in the Valencian Community (Eastern coast of Spain). During my bachelor’s degree at university, I delved into two areas that have always been of special interest to me: language and literature. Indeed, during my Erasmus year, I had the opportunity to be a Spanish language assistant at the University of Cardiff (Wales), teaching conversation classes and providing support both to teachers and to small groups of students. What is more, I was also a volunteer teaching Spanish at a literacy level to groups of adult students in Barcelona. In fact, I’ve also done my master’s internship teaching English and preparing students for their certificate exams at the Official Language School (EOI) in Spain. Last academic year, I was also working as a Spanish language assistant in a secondary school in Dublin 2 and I also worked as a Spanish teacher in Valencia. Besides, if you're also interested in Catalan, we can also arrange classes for it!
The classes I offer are adapted to the needs of each student while providing enjoyable and dynamic methodologies. In this sense, my main aim in these classes is not only for the students to achieve their goals (such as passing a language certificate, improving their marks or their language skills) but also for them to discover the great advantages of learning a new language and to get a taste for it.
