Imperial College Student teaching Environmental Management and Biology
Hello!
I am a first year Geology undergraduate student studying at Imperial College London in the Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering. I am pursuing an integrated, four years, Bachelor's and Masters degree here.
I look forward to teaching as I am passionate for helping others learn and succeed not only academically but develop skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and time management which are essential in professional lives too. I enjoy sharing my expertise and learning strategies in particular subjects with other students struggling in them and boosting their confidence and academic performance while they help me improve my own knowledge and interpersonal skills.
I am very much familiar with the GCSE and A-level syllabus of Biology and Environmental Management. I believe in providing thorough understanding of a concept from the foundation level and building up on the knowledge according to the ease of the student, providing specific attention and help in difficult areas of study; using diagrams, online videos and lectures to explain the concept in a comprehensive manner. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure.
Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions and I hope to teach you soon!

About Me
I am a first-year Geology undergraduate student studying at Imperial College London in the Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering. I am pursuing an integrated, four-year, Bachelor's and Master's degrees here. I have done my GCSE O-levels and A-levels from Pakistan and have achieved 11A*s, 1A in GCSEs, and 3A*s, 2As in my A-levels.I am working as a part-time tutor at Apprentus as I am passionate about helping others learn and succeed not only academically but also develop skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management which are essential in professional lives. I enjoy sharing my expertise and learning strategies in particular subjects with other students struggling with them and boosting their confidence and academic performance while they help me improve my own knowledge and interpersonal skills.
I am able to teach the GCSE O-level academic syllabus in a very comprehensive and interactive manner, tailoring my classes according to the student's needs. I have prior experience of interacting with children of that age group during my time as a member of the executive student council during my O-levels and A-levels and managing Science Olympiads and exhibitions during high school. I have an informal teaching experience as a peer mentor for my juniors during high school, giving them guidance and feedback on their tests, and giving them tips and resources to learn and improve their understanding of the subject.

Experience / Qualifications
I have an informal teaching experience as a peer mentor for my juniors during high school, giving them guidance and feedback on their tests both in person and online, and I am confident in providing productive and compelling lessons. In my classes the students will be a part of an interactive session of solving time-sensitive short questions as a brainstorming exercise, proceeding with covering topics from the start of the syllabus, solving questions as we move on and understanding the difficult level that the student is easily able to pass. This will be followed by recognising the topics that the student is finding difficult and then explaining them through short lectures and diagrams, helping the student have a better grasp at the concepts. I will ensure constant feedback after each of my classes to understand the students problems and tailoring my lessons according to that. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions and I hope to teach you soon!

Excellent English, Maths, Science and medical/dental school entrance exam tutoring for your child.I am biomedical Science graduate from Plymouth University. I enjoy teaching and has had previous tutoring experience working with Einstein tutoring, providing one to one tutoring session. I have has students that range from year 7 to GCSE, and have been tutoring in various subjects such as Biology, chemistry , English and Maths. I acknowledge that each individual student has a unique way of learning, and therefore try to cater to their individual needs. I myself have a strong academic background, currently I have received a first class BSc(Hons) degree. In addition to this, I have also achieved 4A*, 3A and 2B including Maths and Science in my GCSE. I usually tend to use various materials for tutoring such as the textbooks, powerpoint presentations and even in some cases seminars and videos that are useful and available online. I tend to get feedback from the student and then try to adapt more to their style of learning. I also make sure that I am aware of the progress a student makes by giving them test and record to their score as an indication to myself and the student of the progress we have made so far. I also tend to start the follow up lesson by usually reviewing what was done in the last lesson. Since I am currently doing a degree, I can only commit to tutoring during the weekends. In summary, I am an highly motivated and experienced tutor, with a background of providing private tuitions to students from diverse background. I am confident that my song desire to help students achieve their goal will go a long way in providing high quality services to your organisation. I assure you that if given a chance, I would do the best to my abilities.I have also started tutoring for UKAT to get into medical school.

IB Biology SL tutoring for those in need of extra support with anything biology-related, whether it's to do with anatomy or plants!I completed Biology HL in IB with a 6 overall. I am now studying it at the university level and am ready to help students struggling with IB Biology SL. I am familiar with the syllabus and can help students break down complex topics into simpler concepts that are easy to digest.
We will begin with a lesson in order to get to know each other and see whether our goals align. We will discuss what exactly you need help with and make a weekly tutoring schedule. At the end of every class I expect students to let me know what they need help with next time or tell me 3 days before the next lesson at the latest. This ensures each class makes the most of our time together. At the beginning of the next lesson we will do a few practice questions to revise out previous class and continue with the next desired topic.
I am looking for students who are open to receiving constructive criticism. I promise I will approach all of our lessons with patience, kindness, motivation and support!
