I specialise in GCSE English, whether that is Literature or Language, I also work well with Keystage 1 (ages between 5-7), helping the children with reading and spelling. My intention is to help children who are revising for their GCSE or Keystage 1 SATs to pass with good grades whilst making them enjoy education.

A happy and motivational person, who has a passion for english and helping children to the best of my ability to ensure they learn and develop in a fun and innovative way. I also study Childcare in College, as I hope to be a langauge therapist and or an english teacher in schools both secondary and primary school.

Nursery practitioner - volunteer, with full DBS: In this position I work closely with young infants, and toddlers. I play with them and do creative activities that improve their learning and development. I volunteer at a nursery called Enchanted Castle, in East London.

Cookies Island Childrens Play Centre - I carefully watch children whilst they are playing to ensure they have no injuries, I promote childrens activities.

Preview the poem by reading the title and paying attention to the poem's form: shape on the page, stanzas, number of lines and ending punctuation. Read poem aloud several times to hear rhyme, rhythm, and the overall sound of the poem. This makes it easier to understand the poem.
Inferring is how we enter into those holes and spaces as we read. When we infer, we figure out what the author might have meant when information isn’t explicitly stated. In Strategies That Work, we make inferences by combining our background knowledge with clues from the words on the page.
Novels tend to be easy to read. You can sit down and become absorbed by a book for an hour or more. Poems, on the other hand, typically require slow and careful study to glean their full meaning. The lines of a poem tend to be more complex, more “packed with meaning,” than lines of text in other types of literature.
