I'm a musician from the US working and traveling in Belgium. I was a music instructor for the last three years in the states. I have a ton of experience working with very young beginners as well as middle schoolers and high schoolers.

Hello, I am an Associate Professor of Piano, I obtained my master's degree in Piano Didactics at Imep in Namur (2022), and my specialized piano diploma at the Perugia Conservatory of Music in Italy (2012).

Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realized how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music.

Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges.

For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations.

I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Experience has taught me that it is very important to build a warm, trusting relationship with students, especially the very young ones. Bringing laughter, a sense of humour, games, and creating imaginative stories with music are my motives throughout the lesson.

The goals and character of each student guides the teaching approach I adopt - some students enjoy learning for the joy of music, whilst others prefer to aim for recognised qualifications or grades. In both cases I aim to make learning enjoyable.

I always encourage all my students, of whatever age or ability, to do some simple improvisation, and have developed several ways to facilitate this. I emphasise developing technique and music theory as they make the foundation of becoming a good musician throughout life.

Pianiste depuis l’âge de 7 ans, diplômée d'un DEM de piano au CRR de Paris et aujourd’hui étudiante au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, je propose des cours de piano, de solfège et de coaching audition/concert pour tous les âges et tous les niveaux.

Passionnée de musique et de pédagogie, j'enseigne depuis plus de 6 ans. J’ai eu plusieurs expériences, d’abord en cours particuliers et dans diverses associations à Paris. Plus tard, j’ai remplacé pendant 6 mois Laurent Durupt, professeur de piano au Conservatoire du XIVe et plus ponctuellement d’autres professeurs de piano au Conservatoire du XIe.
J’ai également eu l’occasion d’être directrice artistique et coach piano pour un album du label Vita Productions.

Formée en France au Conservatoire de Lyon et au Centre d'enseignement de la musique (Cefedem), j'adapte les esthétiques musicales et ma pédagogie au profil de chaque élève.
Titulaire de 2 diplômes d'État d'enseignement obtenus au Cefedem de Lyon en formation musicale, et musiques actuelles; ainsi que d'un DEM de Jazz.

Cela fait plus de 12 ans que j'enseigne en école de musique, conservatoire, ou cours privés.

Mes spécialités sont la flûte traversière jazz et classique; et le piano musiques actuelles composition, mais j'enseigne également la formation musicale en école de musique.

Différentes formules sont possibles: cours individuel, à 2 ou à 3.

Pour les enfants de 7 à 12 ans c'est 30 minutes, pour les adolescents et adultes c'est 45 minutes.

We'll alternate between skills training and purely musical lessons, where you can apply the acquired skills or techniques to your pieces. This frees up more focus for the most important thing: making beautiful music.

Piano lessons are designed to develop students' musical, technical, and artistic skills according to their individual level and goals. Instruction includes work on posture, piano technique, sight-reading, and the interpretation of a varied repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music.

The main objective is to strengthen piano mastery within a context of instruction and musical performance, ensuring consistent progression tailored to each student's level.

Classically trained, she has continued her training in jazz, folk, and other styles. I have a wide range of musical interests and strive to share this with my students.
