I have been teaching basic English for secondary school students with music plays etc for 13 years in Turkey. I have been teaching English for 13 years in my home country (Turkey) I am in London as a master degree student in MBA with leadership at UWS London. So Iam looking for a part time job as a teacher or manager. The best moment is to see my students learn and achieve their aims. For example a few years ago one of my student had an experience with a tourist in İstanbul. When she expresses her emotions, she had self confidense. For Linguistics and Phonetics you will go through your university course assignments with me, we shall do "Chomskian trees" and we shall discuss theoretical points (eg GB theory, minimalist program). For Phonetics, IPA symbols and phonetic structures and theories (auto-segmental phonology and optimality theory). WARNING: there are many approaches to these theories, we shall go by what has been adopted at your university. Also: AI over-generates syntactic trees. They are not to be used for essays or to understand the underlying theories (right now, 2026). For Linguistics I use Radford 2004. Some universities (I am looking at you, Geneva!) still use old Generative grammar frameworks. Minimalist syntax evolves and the student is best advised to first read "old models" that are less confusing. AI trees are not reliable. This is why you need a tutor!
