I have played guitar and bass in various bands for the majority of my life and am eager to share what I've learned with others who share my passion for music. I love soul, jazz, blues, rock, funk, metal ,hip-hop, punk, reggae, folk, pop, gospel, disco, indie...just about EVERYTHING! I cater for any ages, musical interests and experience with your instrument. Learning a new instrument can be challenging for beginners so in my classes, I make sure we have a balance of theory and practice. We will learn musical ideas and spend time making music and having fun with these ideas. For people with some experience playing bass or guitar, learning theory or focusing on technique may be challenging. We will learn at your pace and make sure that every lesson has time for us to play freely together and improvise using what we have been studying. The whole point of music is to enjoy it and a really good way to make sure you keep practising your instrument, is to learn how to have fun while practising!
