I specialise in teaching maths,physics, chemistry, business studies and programming. I have several years of helping and explain difficult concepts to people and I am able to break it down making it easy to understand. I also have great knowledge of exam boards and how to answer or revise.

In this class, we prioritise striking a balance between theory and practical learning, to construct a balanced approach to education. We encourage students to utilise their inquisitive nature by questioning the world around them and conducting supervised experiments in order to make observations and learn from them. This boosts the memory of the learner due to being a form of active learning, and furthers the students desire to learn. As well as this, we use textbooks and other learning resources to learn the key facts and principles biology. Once students have a solid understanding of these principles, we guide them through exam style questions(tailored to their syllabus)in order to boost their problem solving abilities. This allows them to approach questions with a systematic, methodical and logical approach, enabling them to fully apply the relevant knowledge in a concise way to answer the question posed. Whether you are preparing for SATS, or on a quest for knowledge, we can discuss a plan tailored to your requirements. I also provide frequent progress reports and set homework tasks. Overall, we construct fun and engaging lessons that set up students with key skills such as a logical approach to problem solving, which is required for higher education in every subject. Each of our lessons take place in a comfortable environment in which students can feel confident to speak their minds.

I`m a fully qualified teacher achieving my Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2016. I have a positive outlook on teaching and learning and I’m a calm, friendly, and approachable teacher. My core priority is to bring out the best in all students and to do this a child`s relationship with learning needs to be positive. To develop this I incorporate growth mindset methods within my teaching, which means I praise the way your child approaches a challenge — not just the end result. I also work hard to build a child’s confidence through my positive teaching approach. This involves appropriate pace, clear examples and explanations, and suitable amounts of practice.

The Maths GCSE rests on a foundation of number skills and algebra. I can work with you to master these fundamentals, or I can go through exam technique or just review specific areas of content you struggle with, it's entirely up to you! I also have a bank of past papers we can go through and complete. Science is very similar in that it relies on a few concepts of the scientific method that are then applied to different areas of content. I am a physics specialist but have experience teaching all three subjects.

Je suis un professeur particulier de mathématiques qualifié et expérimenté. Diplômé de l'Université libre de Bruxelles en 2011, j'ai débuté ma carrière en dispensant des cours de remédiations dans différentes écoles de Bruxelles. Fort de mon expérience d'étudiant, j'enseigne d'abord le vocabulaire qui sera ensuite mémorisé à travers différents exercices, tant écrits qu'oraux. C’est ainsi que la grammaire sera également mise en œuvre. Nous essaierons d'animer les cours avec de courtes vidéos et chansons de temps en temps, car je pense que c'est un bon outil pour améliorer la compréhension orale. Si les parents préfèrent se concentrer sur le soutien scolaire général, nous travaillerons sur les matières les plus difficiles, en essayant de donner du temps à chacun, de manière pédagogique et sereine.
