I am currently a Group 3 Primary School Teacher working in an International School in The Netherlands. I trained as a Key Stage 1 and 2 teacher (Ages 4-11) and worked in London teaching the British Curriculum prior to this.
I specialise in tutoring Maths and English for school. My goal is to provide extra support and build confidence in areas of the curriculum that may be challenging. I want learning to be as enjoyable as possible and often tutor through games and interactive activities.

Depending on the circumstance I may set homework to allow for a little extra practise and to decipher what else needs to be worked on.

I have been living in the Netherlands for 3 years now and have worked at an international school throughout this time. I have worked with children in a number of different other setting be it at a tuition centre or kids club in a hotel resort and strongly believe in the importance of fun to guide learning.

BA French from University of Southampton
PGCE Primary with QTS from UCL Institute of Education
This included two placements in inner London schools, one in Year 5 and one in Year 1, as well as a placement in a bilingual nursery. My specialisation module was in French.

I specialize in tutoring secondary school students in English language and literature, particularly students from international schools. I am familiar with the IB-programme and similiar programmes. However, exceptions can be made for other students.

I am fluent in both Dutch and English, so tutoring in either language would not be an issue from me. I would prefer to tutor in the area where I live, but exceptions can always be made. Travel costs are not included in the hourly price.

I am an Artificial Intelligence student in Utrecht but I have already done 2 years of applied physics.

Digital tools and multimedia content also play an important role in making learning interesting and relevant. My lessons are designed for students of different ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. I have extensive experience as a teacher, with a background in mathematics. My lessons usually last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours, depending on the needs of the student and the type of lesson.
