Mijn naam is Nico, cellist in Tilburg. Ik geef klassieke cellolessen aan studenten van alle leeftijden en niveaus. Of je nu voor het eerst cello speelt of je muzikale vaardigheden wilt verdiepen, ik begeleid je met een mix van heldere techniek, muzikaal inzicht, creativiteit en – het allerbelangrijkste – plezier!
Tijdens onze lessen stellen we samen zinvolle doelen en verkennen we repertoire dat aansluit bij jouw muzikale ideeën en leerbehoeften. Je ontwikkelt goede oefengewoonten, krijgt inzicht in muziektheorie en speelt zelfs af en toe duetten met mij.

Whether you’re picking up the cello for the first time or looking to deepen your musical skills, I’ll guide you with a mix of clear technique, musical understanding, creativity, and—most importantly—enjoyment!
In our lessons, we’ll set meaningful goals together and explore repertoire that matches both your musical ideas and your learning needs. You’ll develop solid practice habits, gain insight into music theory, and even play duets with me from time to time.
Lessons are available both in person and online—whatever works best for you : )

Hallo! Mijn naam is Nico, een cellist afkomstig uit Indonesië, momenteel woonachtig in Nederland. Ik begon met cello spelen toen ik 14 was, en vanaf dat eerste moment is het instrument een essentieel onderdeel van mijn leven geworden.
Al vele jaren treed ik actief op als solist, werk ik samen met fantastische musici en speel ik repertoire dat zowel mij als het publiek raakt. Meer informatie over mijn werk, opnames en aankomende projecten vind je op
Tijdens mijn muzikale reis heb ik het voorrecht gehad om te leren van inspirerende docenten en artiesten die niet alleen mijn techniek, maar ook mijn artistieke stem hebben gevormd. Al die kennis en inspiratie vormen nu de basis van mijn lessen – een combinatie van solide techniek en expressieve muzikaliteit in elke les.
Of het nu gaat om het verkennen van de diepten van Bachs suites of het tot leven brengen van nieuwe hedendaagse werken, ik benader elk stuk met nieuwsgierigheid, plezier en diep respect voor de muziek.
Ik ben gepassioneerd, geduldig en altijd enthousiast om je te helpen groeien, zowel technisch als creatief, op de cello. Mijn doel is om de lessen boeiend, betekenisvol en afgestemd op jouw persoonlijke muzikale ontwikkeling te maken.

For many years now, I’ve been actively performing as a soloist, collaborating with amazing musicians and performing repertoire that moves both my heart and the hearts of audiences. You can check out more about my work, recordings, and upcoming projects
Throughout my musical journey, I’ve had the honor of learning from inspiring teachers and artists who have shaped not only my technique but my artistic voice. All of that knowledge and inspiration now fuels my teaching — blending solid technique with expressive musicality in every lesson.
Whether it’s exploring the depths of Bach’s suites or bringing new contemporary works to life, I approach every piece with curiosity, joy, and deep respect for the music.
I’m passionate, patient, and always eager to help you grow both technically and creatively on the cello. My goal is to make lessons engaging, meaningful, and tailored to your personal musical path.
