Sound engineer and producer with 10 years of experience gives lessons in music production, mixing, MAO (Computer Assisted Music), arrangement, sampling, etc. Always passionate about music, I started writing, recording and mixing my songs more than ten years ago. Today I work in my own home studio, where I help established and beginner artists develop their musical projects. From composition to writing and recording, from arrangement to mixing and mastering, I now master the different stages of musical production and like to put my experience at the service of others. Specialized in urban music (Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Jazz, etc.) but amateur of all genres, the skills taught during the courses are applicable to any type of music and any MAO software. The courses are accessible to everyone and adapted according to the needs and desires of the person.

The trumpet is a wonderful instrument. I therefore propose to initiate those who would be interested as well as to help people who are already familiar with this instrument. I've been playing this instrument for 14 years, 10 of which in a conservatory, and I never got tired of it. My way of teaching is mainly based on the management of one's breath and the development of one's musical ear, with breathing exercises, listening, technique etc. Thus, my method is just as suitable for young children who want to learn this instrument, as for older people. My goal is to advance the student without discouraging or overloading with work. That the desire to learn continues. In support, I can lend manuals and sheet music (although I strongly recommend having your own) as well as teach music reading.

My goal is to provide the student with the basic practical knowledge of the transverse flute, from level 0. Such things as learning to hold the instrument, learning to make sound from it and eventually, of course, playing small exercises and pieces. With this base, the student will feel gradually more at ease with the instrument, and gain his/her independence. The method I use is the same I studied when I started playing, as a young child, in the National Conservatory of Lisbon. Althouth this method serves as a guide, I will adapt my classes to the needs and goals of each student.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session.
