I am a native English speaker from the USA currently living and working in France. I specialize in teaching English as a foreign language. I hold a bachelors degree in English from Florida State University as well as a TEFL Certificate from Florida State University. I am happy to help students of any age and level with skills ranging from grammar and writing to speaking and listening. I would also be happy to meet for conversational practice. I speak a small amount of conversational French as well.

I have recently graduated from Florida State University and am currently living and working in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois in France. I hold two degrees from Florida State University in International Affairs and English and am certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I am currently working at two collèges as an English Language Assistant and would love to help others with their English on the side. I am easy going and a very patient teacher and tutor. I am happy to help students with whatever skills necessary and will make sure to always come prepared with materials and an itinerary for the lesson prior to meeting. Help with homework to help with what is difficult and difficult in German, English and French eventually.

My method is work, because work is the key to success. I work with the student on the vocabulary, the grammar etc. At the end of the course I give small exercises to make sure that the student understands !!

I arrange for a short summary of the course to the student & I give him homework at the end for the next class (if needed)

Depending on your needs we will focus on grammar, pronunciation, writing or speaking. As living in a foreign country myself I have come to realize in learning a new language, the best way to proceed is through dialoge. Hello Bonjour!
I am a native French teacher and a graduate in French Philology since 2012. I have 10 years of experience in Belgium and abroad. I offer online classes using a method that I have developed over the years, specifically for online classes.

*My method:*
-During class we focus on speaking. Outside of class, I will send you exercises that I will correct every week (grammar, conjugation, writing...).
-I use a particular technique based on questions/answers to apply the grammar when speaking.
-I use the verbotonal method to correct pronunciation.
-You will also receive access to an application for your Smartphone (to learn the vocabulary).
-Use an interactive whiteboard.
-We will use a shared online notebook to correct your exercises and ask me your questions at any time of the day.

I offer preparation for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, EOI, FIDE in Switzerland...). Classes for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels. Preparation of conferences or talks for business people. Job interviews.

The class is a bit different when I work with children or teenagers. I use interactive websites and letters.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). World traveler, I have lived in Thailand, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, US, Switzerland and many more countries, where I both dtudies and worked as a legal advisor.

2022-Now:

2023:

2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.

Since obtaining my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) diploma in summer 2020, I have been teaching English to learners of all ages, from beginner to advanced level (A1-C1). Lessons are tailored to the student's needs, whether it's improving conversational English, preparing for an exam, working on Business English and more.

In addition to my work as a teacher, I am a student of English language and literature at the University of Geneva. English is truly my passion, which is why I strive to transmit the love of this language to all my students.

A lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and can take place at the student's home, my home, or another convenient location (a cafe or at university, for example).

Hello everyone! I hold a CELTA teaching qualification in Spanish and a doctorate in Italian. I have been teaching Italian and Spanish for more than 5 years. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Spanish for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Spanish culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. It contains on a general review of grammar but with emphasis upon speaking and getting comfortable with the English language. Strong attention will be given to the development of composition and critical reading skills. Vocabulary development and outside reading will complement this course of study.
