Hello everyone, my name is Anastasia and I am an English teacher currently based in the Barcelona region of Spain. Having graduated with a degree in modern languages I decided to move to Spain to become an English teacher as well as to experience a new lifestyle and culture.

I now have nearly three years of English teaching experience and what I love most about my job is that I get to interact with a variety of people on a daily basis as well as always being kept on my toes. I always like to make sure that my lessons are fun and engaging which is why I like to make sure that classes are varied, in particular making sure that speaking skills are given special attention.

- 1st October 2018 - 22nd June 2019: CAPS Conversation Assistant, Sant Vicenç de Castellet, Spain. 25 hours of teaching time per week with 3-16-year olds which included: assisting with the preparation of English classes, aiding students with vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, assisting in a whole class or carrying out group conversation classes.

- 14th September 2016 - 27th January 2017: English Teacher, Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), Spain. This involved teaching younger students through games and music, preparing older students for the Cambridge English Examinations, providing one to one tuition and group conversation classes. Students ranged from 2yrs – adults and included all abilities.

Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file.
