I am a violist but have also studied the violin. I moved to London to study at the Purcell school of music for 4 years. At 17 I was offered a place at the Juilliard school to begin my undergraduate course but decided to stay in London where I currently study at the Royal Academy of music with full scholarship. I enjoy teaching and believe it is an essential part of a musicians career. I have been apart of the National Youth orchestra’s inspire programme where I have taught all ages and levels.

The violin carries the melody, it is the key to all ensembles. I will teach you technique, how to take care of your instrument and yourself when you play but also the most important part of music- musicianship and how to find your own sound.

I really enjoy teaching and believe it’s an essential part of a musician’s career.
I aim to teach you about the instrument itself, how to get the most out of your instrument and how to take care of it, Alexander technique, orchestral/chamber music/solo technique and performing. I am able to teach all levels and ages and will add or lessen this list of things when I come to a fuller understanding of who you are as a musician!

Viola is an interesting a soulful instrument. It is the heart of every ensemble and carries such a wonderful, rich sound. I will teach you technique, how to take care of your instrument and yourself when you play but also the most important part of music- musicianship and how to find your own sound.
