I specialise in teaching piano and voice to beginners and amateurs. My goal is to keep students challenged but to keep lessons fun at the same time. I follow up lessons with notes and videos to help you practice in between. I'll also send you over all the relevant materials you'll need before our lesson.

I am a fully DBS checked voice and piano teacher offering piano tuition to children and adults online.

After playing piano and singing throughout my childhood and teenage years I gained ABRSM grade 8 piano alongside grade 5 Voice and Music Theory, whilst performing in local hotels and functions as a pianist. I was able to attend Goldsmiths College to study Popular Music where I gained a 1:1 and expanded my skillset as a musician, songwriter and artist. Although I started off learning classical music, I enjoy writing, playing and teaching a wide range of genres and I also have an Estill voice qualification. I now split my time between teaching and performing regularly as a solo artist.

I have been teaching piano, keyboards and singing for the past 6 years and have a broad knowledge of teaching both children and adults in individual and group settings. I have also worked for Soundsteps Music School, The SE22 Piano school and am currently expanding my teaching knowledge as a post-graduate student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. My experience ranges from teaching very early beginners the basics (my youngest student was 2.5 years of age!) to helping students prepare for ABRSM and Trinity graded exams. I also teach adults one to one who wish to improve their skills or start from scratch. I can help students who wish to prepare for an audition of performance or who simply want to have a go at trying something new.

My Approach

I firmly believe in adapting my approach to suit the needs of each individual student and aim to make each lesson as enjoyable and productive as possible so that we can work together in achieving whatever goal a learner has in mind.

Keyboard Skills for Songwriting or Music Production

This is a great course for singers or songwriters/producers who would like to use a keyboard or piano to aid them in their songwriting or performing.

Having some basic knowledge of keyboard playing will allow you to record demos of songs, accompany yourself whilst singing and help you write more structured, interesting songs.

We will look at basic technique, how to form chords and play them and how to use chord patterns to write songs. I can also help you add accompaniments to existing songs you've written.

2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as:
