Hello. I am a composer with more than 4 years of professional experience composing music for films, audio drama, theatre, podcast and more. I have also been a teacher for more than 7 years and am familiar with practical methods to teach depending on your level and instrument.

You can play guitar, keyboard or any other instrument and become a successful composer for media. You can even become one without playing an instrument, so it really depends on your commitment and will to learn.

My method includes online classes where we review all types of material: from music theory to analysing scores. But one thing is for sure, the class is adapted to each student.

I was an IB (International Baccalaureate) struggling particularly with Math and Physics, so I understand what it is to go through these apparently difficult subjects. After many years I ended up teaching these two subjects for 7 years!

Besides the knowledge part of teaching, I am also very empathic and like to motivate students by identifying their strengths and showing them how they can use them to understand all sorts of math and physics related topics.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years.

My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies.
