Here are 10 great reasons
Did you know that Indonesia is the fourth most populous region on the entire planet? This means that you’ll have about 23 million potential conversation partners, if we’re just talking about native speakers. If we count those who speak it as a second language, that number skyrockets to over 200 million!
I have great desire and ability to always help others learn Indonesian language and culture intensively, develop and boost their skills for employment and career progression. I am also passionate about facilitating cross-cultural relationships and have created extensive informational material to help colleagues / students comprehensively understand and reach out the learning objective.
The following are 3 classes of Indonesian short course :
A. BEGINNER CLASS
Lesson duration : 90 minutes
Total meeting : 20
Instructional language : English 75% and Indonesian 25%
Competency Standards :
1. Able to give and ask for information about greeting somebody, saying goodbye, saying thanks, apologies.
2. Able to give and ask for information about how to Introduce yourself, someone else, requesting information regarding the identity of someone.
3. Able to give and ask for information related to the names of family members.
4. Able to give and ask for information related to time, day, date, month, and year.
5. Able to give and ask for information related to names of animals, objects, and public buildings around;
6. Able to give and ask for information related to the nature of people, animals, and objects.
7. Able to give and ask for information related to whereabouts of people, objects, and animals; how to get to a place;
8. Able to give and ask for information related to animal behavior and activities of people, the functions of object.

I am Aries, an Indonesian language teacher with extensive teaching experience providing all aspects of Indonesian language learning (listening, reading, speaking, writing) by applying critical thought, problem solving, high order thinking skill, student active oriented learning in group discussion with highly upholding the values of great ethic, local wisdom, religious, and culture in line with the latest curriculum objectives. I have been dedicating my teaching proficiency at Ar Ridlo Islamic Junior High School for 11 years, a non profit foundation owned school located in Majalengka, Indonesia.
I graduated from a reputable university namely Universitas Majalengka (Bachelor's degree), Faculty of Education Science majoring Indonesian Language graduated in 2009, I completed teaching knowledge and skill by attending study of pedagocial science at Universitas Pasundan, intensively English and Computer class at skill courses as well.
Based on my teaching proficiency and my extensive experience, I have great desire and ability to always help others learn Indonesian language and culture intensively, develop and boost their skills for employment and career progression. I am also passionate about facilitating cross-cultural relationships and have created extensive informational material to help colleagues / students comprehensively understand and reach out the learning objective. I have completely provided competencies mapping, learning materials and lesson plans in accordance with each level of Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language) learning that is A1-Beginner, A2-Elementary, B1-Intermediate, B2-Upper Intermediate, C1-Advanced, C2-Mastery or Proficiency with appropriate teaching methods.
The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments :
1. Mastering pedagogical science includes knowledge of science curriculum, instructional strategy, student’s understanding of science, and assessment of scientific literacy in accordance with 21st century learning demands and updated Indonesian national curriculum.
2. Broad knowledge of Indonesian linguistics among others : Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Sociolinguistics, etc..
3. Extensive knowledge of a broad range of Indonesian cultural, languages, local wisdom and social issues with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
4. Communication skill fluently in English and Indonesian both oral and written.
5. Excellent translation skill from Indonesian into English and from English into Indonesian.
6. Excellent computer skill : Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Coreldraw as well as information technology proficiency.
