Teaching German has been my passion for several years and I am excited about the opportunity to share my knowledge and foster a love for the language among learners. I have a Bachelor's degree in German Studies and a Master's degree in German Didactics from the Higher Institute of Languages Gabes, where I received extensive training in language acquisition, literature and cultural studies.
I am also a test developer. As an examiner, I design my tests according to scientific criteria, i.e. according to the official curriculum or the criteria of a Common European Framework of Reference. I can check the quality, consistency, structure and presentation of learners' answers, write comments throughout the assessment process, return graded items along with feedback and suggest improvements to existing rubrics.

Leservaring
During my teaching career, I have had the privilege of teaching learners from different age groups. I have developed and implemented dynamic lesson plans that engage learners and encourage active participation. Using a variety of teaching methods, such as multimedia resources (Kahoot, Padlets, Quizlet, Moodle, etc.), group activities, I strive to create an immersive and interactive learning environment. This approach allows students to gain a better understanding of German vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation while improving their conversational and writing skills.
I have also taken part in numerous training courses organised by the DAAD and the GOETHE Institute. I have received further training in the following areas: 'Integrating AI into German lessons', 'Using the Deutschstunde portal', 'Testing and assessment', the 'Deutschstunde' learning platform, 'Gamification - more than just games', 'Applications for creating digital learning materials' and 'Video projects and screencasts as exam formats'.
As an educator, I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom. I believe in recognising and appreciating the unique strengths and challenges of each learner. I emphasise open communication that encourages learners to ask questions, express their opinions and actively participate in discussions.
