Private Psychology tutoring for GCSE and A level students - from an oxford university student studying psychology.

Psychology is a broad subject area concerned with how we think and act. It is a subject I have developed a huge love for, which I wish to pass on to others. As well as studying psychology A-level and gaining an A* grade, I am in my 3rd year of study of psychology at oxford university so have much experience in this field.
My approach to teaching is helping students understand the broader context of research and help them apply this to exam style questions.
I can also help students critically analyse research, a pivotal skill within psychology.

About Me

Enthusiastic student with a love for teaching. I want to be able to use the skills I acquired whilst working for my own GCSE and A level exams to help others achieve their desired grades. My method of teaching is thorough and designed to not only boost the students marks on an examination, but also increase their understanding of the subject and hopefully help them to enjoy subject areas I feel passionately about.
I begin with teaching content and then later applying this to exam-style questions in order to test their application of knowledge skills. Additionally, I help students to learn new revision techniques that best suit their learning style l, as well as help with essential skills such as time-management.

AS & A-level psychology tutoring for year 11 and 12 students
A Level Psychology can be a lot — loads of studies, tricky terms, and essays that need to hit specific points to score. It’s not just about knowing the content, it’s about knowing how to use it. I did my AS & A Levels in 2023, and I know how it feels. Understanding the material is one thing, but turning that into marks is a whole different challenge. In our sessions, we’ll cover the full syllabus: content, learning outcomes, past papers, and what examiners want to see. Since it’s one-on-one, we can focus on whatever you’re finding most difficult, or just sharpen your overall exam technique. I’m a big believer in “practice makes perfect,” so that’ll be a big part of what we do. If you're aiming for a great grade and want a bit of the stress taken off your plate, I’ve got you.
