Hello! I am offering tailored tuition in Drawing, Printmaking, sketching, Portfolio preparation and advice. I am a friendly practicing artist and printmaker with a degree in Fine Art and experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities. I have experience as a University Print technician where I would give practical workshops to students from Illustration and Fine art as well as more tailored one-to-one guidance. Further to this I currently work in a large FE college group where I create and deliver Printmaking classes online that are designed for people to achieve success in printmaking at home, without access to specialist facilities.

Whether you are looking to hone your skill or start developing a new one I can offer tuition tailored to what you want to work on. I am also available to offer advice on portfolio preparation and development for application to Art Schools/University at both Postgraduate and Undergraduate level. Having been through the entire undergraduate process and now going on to start a postgraduate degree in a London Art school I can offer advice on statements and interview preparation too.

-Drawing (technical skill, line quality, training the eye, from life, utilisation of different media and techniques)
-Sketching (Field sketching with various materials, sketching as research)

-Classes for younger makers who want to try something new within print or drawing.

-1st class Fine Art degree with honours.

I am a practicing Artist and Printmaker with a Degree in Fine Art. I have experience teaching students from a range of ages and abilities. I worked as a Print technician within a university where I helped students from Ilustration and Fine art learn about various processes of print, including in depth one-to-one guidance for those with developing ideas. I currently work for a Large FE colleg group creating and delivering Online Printmaking courses designed for people to be able to succesfully print at home without access to specialist facilliities.
I am attending a masters this september at an Art school in London.

I was talking to a colleague of mine and we were working as art teachers and she asked me, “Doesn’t it happen to you sometimes that you draw something and you can’t make a resemblance between it and your drawing?” I answered her with utmost confidence, “Of course not, the amateur artist is the one who makes mistakes once and gets it right the other time, while the professional can make a resemblance every time he draws.” It was clear on her face that she didn’t like my answer… What made me confident in myself to say these words, and before that the words were actually able to achieve them, is my practice of the theory of measurements and angles, to which I attribute the credit, after God, for making me a professional.

Now, what if I told you that someone had a talent for drawing and turned it into a set of steps that you could understand and implement? Do you know what that means? It means that anyone can draw, not just the talented. Let me explain in more detail. The theory of measurements and angles is a theory whose mission is to analyze the mental processes that take place in the artist’s mind, which enable him to draw, and turn them into steps. This means that this theory can make you draw even if you do not have any talent... Yes, as you read, this theory consists of three rules that anyone can understand and then make the necessary effort to apply what they understand. As a result, their well-deserved reward will be to have the ability to draw anything, even if they originally lack talent, so what if you have the talent and just want to hone it?

However, it is important to note that this theory is not suitable for someone looking for an easy or quick method that relies on some tricks.
