General and Business English Lessons for ESL students

General and Business English Lessons will help to improve a students’ all round ability in English. The classes will provide a balance of practice in:

- Speaking: conversation lessons will focus on improving students’ ability to speak easily and accurately.

- Listening: students will have the opportunity to improve their listening skills by listening to various class conversations (audio from books or different materials).

- Writing and Reading: writing classes will concentrate on areas which students find most difficult at present and improve their ability in writing accurately; lessons involve a number of different topic areas to improve the reading skills

- Business English: these lessons are for students who want to improve their English to use it in a business environment. Classes focus on improving the writing, listening, and speaking skills, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation needed in a business setting.

A course book, or materials provided by the teacher will be used during lessons (depending on the student).

I'm Noëlla and I offer English lessons for all levels, from learning to advanced (conversation lessons).

I am indeed English and French and have been teaching English for several years. I hold an English teaching diploma, TEFL level 5 (equivalent to CELTA).

In person lessons in the Monthey - Troistorrents - Morgins region and lessons by Skype also possible!

I offer lessons of 1h, 1h30 or 2 hours. Whatever your level, my goal will be to help you speak this beautiful language with as much ease and accuracy as possible, this by studying of course, many points of grammar but also by working, with a lot of conversation and practical training on diction, pronunciation and fluency.

Half-mornings and immersion courses in English are also possible with the program:

- English lesson
- Audio-vocal language integration sessions to open the ear to the frequencies of the English language and thus improve pronunciation and comprehension.
- Meals in English also possible.

I also offer translations as well as corrections of texts in English. :-)

These courses are intended for those who are in middle school or who are preparing for the federal maturity as a free candidate, professional maturity or the DUBS gateway. I give tailor-made courses on the subject of writing an essay. I also help you prepare your books for the maturity oral or to do text analyses/comments. We choose the books together and I organize mock orals.

Courses can be given on site or by videoconference. Concerning language courses, courses are given in person either privately, semi-privately or in groups.

Allow me to introduce myself! I am Min Ling (Melissa), a Singaporean living in Aigle, Switzerland. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and English is my native language where I was born and bred. In my country, we mainly speak English or/and our mother tongue ( in my case, Mandarin) for our everyday activities. Since moving to the French-speaking part of Switzerland, I picked up French (4+ years) and I am not going to lie, I am a work in progress, and I am working hard to improve it.
