Guard. Directed by John Savournin and conducted by David Eaton.
July 2024: Opera Holland Park 2024 chorus member in Leoncavallo’s opera Pagliacci. Directed by Martin
Lloyd Evans and conducted by Francesco Cilluffo.
June 2024: Performed at Peterborough Cathedral for a private gala event as part of a quartet. Was hired by
Rawle and Shipley.
May 2024: Sung in an Opera Gala for the Curious Opera Company at Pushkin House in Bloomsbury.
March 2024: Performed in the Philharmonia Chorus in six sold out performances of The Lord of the Rings-
Return of the King concert alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This project was conducted by
Ludwig Wicki.
January 2024: Katey performed in a lunch time recital at St James’s Church, Sussex Gardens with her duo
partner Yupeng He.
December 2023: Katey performed the alto solo in Handel’s Messiah with the Penzance orchestra and choral
society in Penzance, Cornwall.
October 2023: Katey received a bursary from the International Opera Awards Foundation.
October 2023: Katey participated some opera scenes where she performed the roles of Carmen, Beatrice,
Auntie and Stewardess in the Richard Burton Theatre. The set of scenes were directed by Cecilia Stinton.
October 2023: Katey recorded pieces as part of the London Funeral Singers cohort for their new social
media pages for 2024.
September 2023: Katey sung in a charity concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sophie’s Silver
Lining Fund at Broughton Castle.
August 2023: Katey sung the Alto 1 part in “I tredici” for the performance of Paul Carr’s composition Four
New Seasons in the Scuola Grande di S. Giovanni Evangelista in Venice, Italy.
May 2023: Katey performed the Alto Solo in Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Elgar’s Coronation Ode for
Penzance Choral Society.
April 2023: Katey performed as a member of the Philharmonia Chorus in a Good Friday concert of Dvorak’s
Stabat Mater at King’s College Chapel, Cambridge. Conducted by Daniel Hyde and broadcasted on BBC
Radio 3.
March 2023: Katey Performed the alto solo in J.S Bach’s St John Passion in Milton Keynes with fabulous
soloists from the Royal College of Music and MKChorale. Conducted by Mark Jordan.
March 2023: Katey performed the alto solo in Handel’s Dixit Dominus at Chichester Cathedral with the
Chichester singers. Conducted by Jonathan Willcocks.
February 2023: Katey performed the roles of Dorabella and Hermia in the Vocal faculty spring opera scenes
in the Susie Sainsbury Theatre, Royal Academy of Music.
January 2023: Katey received an offer to attend the David Seligman Opera School at the Royal Welsh
College of Music and Drama in September.
December 2022: Katey performed in the Philharmonia Chorus and sung the Alto 1 part of Handel’s Messiah
at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
December 2022: As part of the Philharmonia Chorus’ student scheme, Katey was given the opportunity to
sing O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion as part of the chorus’ performance of Handel’s Messiah.
October 2022: Katey won the Isabel Jay memorial prize at the Royal Academy of Music.
September 2022: Katey was associated with the Sophie’s Silver Lining Fund Award, which is a very
prestigious honour.
September 2022: Katey was chosen to sing in the Angelika Kirchschlager public masterclass at the Royal
Academy of Music.
September 2022: Katey’s autumn concerts included: An evening recital at St Mark’s Terrace, Maida Vale
(Organised by Daniel Collins) and Katey sung the alto solo in Mozart’s Requiem for a charity concert led by
Mark Jordan in Covent Garden, London. The event helped raise a total of £34,000 for Cancer Research.
August 2022: Katey took part in the Cratoule summer course. She worked with Marc Verter, Chad Vindin,
Michael Harper and Darquise Bilodeau.
July 2022: Katey sung the Mezzo-Soprano chorus part in West Green House Opera’s summer production
of L’elisir d’amore, which was directed by Victoria Newlyn and conducted by Matthew Kofi Waldren.
During the rehearsal period she had the pleasure of working with répétiteurs Frans Hill and Richard Harker.

My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France.
I also believe that singing is connected to the body and the way we use it, and become more aware of it. I acquired many tools in order to teach you how to sing your favourite songs in your own free way.
I'm convinced that there is not one way to sing "good" : we all have a voice and I am here to help you find it with exercices according to your own needs. My name is May and I'm a singer/songwriter/producer.
I have 18 years of vocal technique experience working with some International vocal coaches such as Nick Cooper (Beyonce, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj).
As a singer, I've been releasing music for the past 9 years, I started my career in musicals but soon realized that my true interest resided in a solo career as a Pop/Alternative artist.
I've been teaching family and friends since my young age so went on to teaching anyone.
I've worked with people who damaged my vocal cords as a child and so have learned the risks and am very careful and gentle in that matter especially with younger aspiring singers.

I teach the importance of breathing correctly, using your voice in a healthy way, warming up the voice to avoid any damage and techniques on singing songs in a more interesting way. We sing a specific song thing by the student at the beginning and at the end to compare the progress made during the lesson.

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.
My lessons are for all ages, all levels, and all voices. I specialised in the voice of Countertenor.
