English Tutoring and TOEFL Preparation

Learning English opens doors to travelling, to studying and to working abroad. With English being the most commonly used foreign language among foreign English language speakers, English dominates the fields of tourism, film, science and technology.

I am a native English speaker from Canada, certified to English as a Second Language and to help with TOEFL Preparation. I understand the difficulties of plateauing and the struggle to obtain fluency. My goal is to keep students challenged and engaged by using students' interests to guide the language acquisition process and different forms of media to understand different English dialects and culture.

I believe that a successful teacher is one that engages his or her students in activities and/or discussions, which allows students to remember the language skills practiced in each lesson and to retain those from previous lessons. Being able to know the students' interests would guide my lesson plans and activities to one that would engage the students and enhance their understanding. I also believe that multimedia is a great way to tie in the cultural component of learning a language by showing video clips and/or music of English-speaking countries throughout the world. Children learn the best through play. Making crafts, baking and cooking are all great ways to engage children in English by learning new vocabulary.

I have realized my passion for teaching during my summers as an Aquatic Supervisor. I love creating engaging lesson plans where each child leaves the lesson learning something new and a smile on his or her face. Each summer, I watched children grow, learn and become more confident in their abilities.

Student Master Languages I offer private lessons in Arabic and English. I also offer tutoring.

Reader at the University and holder of a BAC +6 degree in Applied Foreign Languages offers tutoring courses for middle and high school students.

I teach English for all levels and all ages. English is my second language, and i also speak Arabic, French and Spanish. I will adapt my lesson depending on the student's level, age, goals and preferences. If you're having difficulties learning English, if you're in school and need help, if you're studying for Bac, if you want to take your English to the next level, I can help you. I will keep a chart of your progress that will help motivate you to work harder.

This course is for students who wish to advance in English, Arabic or maths during the summer, review last year's courses or prepare for next year.
We will review the program together, with more practice than theory. For languages we will concentrate, according to the needs of the pupil, on oral and written.
The program will be flexible, once again depending on the student's needs and availability.
I periodically provide progress reports, and a summary of the day's course after each session.
If you are a beginner, don't worry! We will move forward at the pace that suits you.

I'm offering individual and personalized classes according to your level , groups also are welcome to join. I help beginners speak confidently also I will adapt to your needs and objectives :Grammar, conversation, vocabulary and culture.

As a Master M2 student at the École Centrale de Lyon, and having already attended the PC scientific preparatory classes (physics-chemistry), I acquired sufficient knowledge to teach children and young people mathematics, physics and English (TOEIC test, score: 915).

For the Arabic course we will learn to read well and see a little about Arabic grammar.

For English we will learn grammar and also how to read.
