I achieved A* in Latin at GCSE in 2017, without dropping a mark I scored 100% across all four papers (400/400 UMS). I earned an A in Latin at A-level in 2019. I was offered a place to read Classics with English Literature at Edinburgh University in 2020. I studied Latin for two years at Edinburgh, before dropping it to complete my undergrad in only English Literature. I graduated with First-Class MA Honours in English Literature in July 2024.

I studied for my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, and won a scholarship as the strongest poet in my cohort.
