Ik ben een concertpianist met een diploma piano en pedagogiek aan het Conservatorium van Zürich. Ik ben niet alleen gepassioneerd door muziek, maar ook door lesgeven, wat mijn roeping is.
Ik geef les op alle niveaus en leeftijden en in alle muziekstijlen. Ik vertrouw niet op één enkele methode, maar op verschillende methodologische werken. Hierdoor kan ik studenten een grotere verscheidenheid aan stukken aanbieden, vooral voor beginnersniveaus, en het meest geschikte stuk kiezen dat de student het beste vooruit helpt.

Als saxofonist behaalde ik een Master diploma met grote onderscheiding aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, won de tweede prijs op de nationale Lion's European Music Competition en speelde al als solist bij orkesten zoals de Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides.
Momenteel volg ik een Master in Theorie en Directie Muziek aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
Ik ben begonnen met dirigeren toen ik 18 was en hoogtepunten uit mijn carrière tot nu toe zijn een selectie als een van de slechts 24 kandidaten voor de dirigentenwedstrijd op het Wereld Muziek Concours Kerkrade afgelopen zomer. Verder heb ik de kans gehad om te werken met professionele orkesten zoals MAV Symphony in Boedapest, de North Czech Philharmonic, de President's Own United States Marine Band, het Belgrade Chamber Orchestra en andere.

Ik ben een heel logisch persoon, ik analyseer altijd alles wat ik doe, wat het voor mij heel gemakkelijk maakt om iets wat ik heb geleerd aan anderen te onderwijzen en uit te leggen. Een doorgewinterde en gepassioneerde muzikant sinds mijn 15e, ik gaf mijn eerste lessen meer dan 10 jaar geleden. Ik ben een uitstekende pedagoog en ik pas me aan het niveau van de student aan, of het nu gaat om de technische beheersing van het instrument, het vermogen om noten (of tablatuur) te lezen, maar ook om de muziektheorie en de theorie te begrijpen. Ik heb een grondige kennis van muziektheorie, met name in de jazz, en een lange ervaring in het samenspelen (jazz, rock en progressieve metal). Cela fait 14 ans que je pratique cet instrument, dont 10 en conservatoire, et je ne m'en suis jamais lassé.

Ma façon d'enseigner est surtout basée sur la gestion de son souffle et le développement de son oreille musicale, avec des exercices de respiration, d'écoute, de technique etc.
Ainsi, ma méthode convient tout autant aux jeunes enfants ayant l'envie d'apprendre cet instrument, qu'aux personnes plus âgées.

Mon but est de faire progresser l'élève sans décourager ou surcharger de travail. Que l'envie d'apprendre perdure.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Olivé began his piano studies under the guidance of Professor Marcilda Clis. Upon entering UNIRIO, he started taking lessons with the pianist and composer Claudio Dauelsberg. He holds a degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany, where he was a student of Professor Kaya Han. He spent 2 years in Portugal, where he taught at the Academia de Música de Almada. He also received guidance from Professor and pianist Manuel Araújo of the Academia Internacional de Música Aquilles Delle Vigne in Coimbra. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, with the renowned pianist Sylvia Thereza as his teacher.

He has been awarded in national and international competitions, such as the VII Sardoal Young Talent Award (2nd Prize - ex-aequo in the Piano Solo category; 2nd Prize and Best Portuguese Duo in the Piano Duo category), the Prof. Dichler-Competition 2022 in Vienna (2nd Prize - ex aequo in the Piano Duo category), the I National Piano Competition of the Villa-Lobos Music School (Honorable Mention) in Rio de Janeiro, and the XXVI Souza Lima Piano Competition (Honorable Mention) in São Paulo.

His classes are intended for anyone who wants to start learning music theory and piano or those who already have basic or advanced knowledge. From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. During the classes, music theory is taught either concurrently or separately from practice, and the repertoire to be played is chosen collaboratively with the student.

Felipe has years of experience as a concert pianist and teacher in academies and music schools. He seeks the most suitable approach for each student, respecting their learning pace, helping overcome difficulties, and exploring their strengths, always encouraging progress.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.

- a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.
