Cello lessen voor iedereen

Cello les voor iedereen! Vanaf beginnende tot gevorderde (pre- conservatorium niveau) cellisten. Online en live lessen mogelijk. Als het nodig is, help ik ook met het begrijpen van de bladmuziek en muziektheorie. Voor elke leerling bied ik een bepaald lesformaat dat geschikt is voor haar/hem. Ik kan lessen geven in klassiek muziek, maar ook in meer moderne muziek of improvisatie.

Over mij: ik ben Nil! Ik ben 25, uit Barcelona (Spanje). Ik heb mijn bachelor in performance en muziekpedagogiek gehaald aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium, Groningen. Nu ben ik afgestudeerd van de Master Klassieke Muziek aan Het Koninklijk Conservatorium (Den Haag). Tijdens mijn studies heb ik ook ervaring met professionele orkesten (Residentie Orkest en Noord Nederlands Orkest) opgedaan en heb ik bij semi-professionele en amateur orkesten (als solist) gespeeld. Tijdens mijn master opleiding deed ik een Master Research in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Ik begon les te geven toen ik 18 was een ben daarna doorgegaan met lesgeven. Lessen kunnen in Engels, Nederlands, Spaans of Catalaans zijn.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

The ability to improvise is not a natural skill that we are born with.
It is an understandable chain of tools that can be learned and practiced into performance. Improvisation is something that requires discipline as much as freedom, and in fact, it stems from the understanding of sounds, the music's natural grammar.

Violin is mostly seen as a melodic instrument but it can be otherwise. Outside of the classical world, rhythm reigns and the violin can be a leading rhythmical instrument too, providing solid grooves and accompaniments or challenging your fellow musicians with percussive sounds.

Furthermore, to be proficient in specific styles, it is not enough to just play scales and patterns but it is necessary to learn the colors of the proper harmonical framework which is part of an idiom.

In 10 years of teaching, I developed an approach that rethinks the function of fingerboard visualization allowing you to transpose in any key with great facility and to understand the logic behind the shapes of any chord on the fingerboard.

In these lessons, I will help you to rethink the violin out of the box, as a powerful rhythmical and harmonical instrument while deepening your melodic ability (soloing) related to the styles you want to play: Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Pop, Rock, Brazilian, World Music. [According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects]

This class is designed for musicians who already know the basics of violin techniques but addresses both beginner and advanced players in relation to the field of improvised music.

The lessons will be custom made for each student. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials.

Mijn naam is Carla Peña en ik kom uit Barcelona. Van kinds af aan speelt muziek een belangrijke rol in mijn leven. Ik begon muziek te leren toen ik 4 jaar oud was en cello toen ik 6 jaar oud was. Ik ontdekte mijn liefde voor muziek en dat deel ik met mijn studenten.
Ik heb ongeveer 15 leerlingen van alle niveaus en leeftijden en geef les in mijn eigen studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) of bij jou thuis!
Ben je in de regio Den Haag en wil je cello leren of je spel verbeteren, dan ben je van harte welkom om lessen bij mij te volgen!

EERSTE LES:
De eerste les bestaat uit het elkaar leren kennen. Dit is essentieel om de beste onderwijsaanpak te kiezen. Alle studenten zijn uniek, daarom kies ik altijd de methode die het beste aansluit bij jouw behoeften. Daarna werken we een persoonlijk plan uit, afhankelijk van je niveau, verwachtingen, oefentijd en smaak.

TECHNIEK:
Het leren van de juiste techniek van het instrument is erg belangrijk om blessures te voorkomen en om onszelf te kunnen uiten en onze muzikale ideeën op een succesvolle manier uit te voeren. Daarom leren we leuke liedjes in verschillende stijlen, afhankelijk van je smaak (van klassiek tot jazz, filmmuziek, pop, etc.) en combineren we het met cellomethodeboeken met progressieve oefeningen om de cellokennis te verbeteren.
In het geval van jonge beginners spelen we tijdens de les ook cellospellen om de leerervaring dynamisch en leuk te maken! Kinderen kunnen de aandacht verliezen en snel verveeld raken!

Samen spelen is een essentieel onderdeel van het genieten van muziek. Daarom bestaat het laatste deel van de les altijd uit het spelen van celloduetten en plezier maken!

OVER MIJ:

Ik studeerde mijn Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, bij professor Amparo Lacruz. Toen besloot ik mijn studie voort te zetten aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag in de klas van Michel Strauss en Jan-Ype Nota.
Tijdens mijn studie in Den Haag heb ik als onderdeel van hun Minor Muziekeducatie een onderwijsstage gelopen aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium. Ik heb ook lesgegeven aan verschillende muziekscholen tijdens mijn studie in Spanje.
Momenteel geef ik les aan particuliere studenten in Den Haag en heb ik een cultureel centrum in Den Haag opgericht, Pandora Studio genaamd.
Ik speel regelmatig in twee kamermuziekensembles: Trio Jakob en Azalaïs Quartet.

Hallo !

Momenteel ben ik masterstudent viola da gamba aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag (Nederland) en bied ik viola da gamba-lessen aan voor alle niveaus.
Ik geef al 4 jaar muziekles aan leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveaus.

Lesgeven is voor mij een zeer belangrijke activiteit waar ik veel plezier aan beleef. Ik doe er alles aan om mij zo goed mogelijk aan te passen aan mijn studenten, om hen onderwijs aan te bieden dat is aangepast aan hun behoeften en wensen. Ik hou er vooral van om mezelf in vraag te stellen en indien nodig nieuwe wegen te zoeken, omdat lesgeven voor mij nooit vaststaat en de leraar ook de kans moet geven om te evolueren.
Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat lesgeven ook leren is!

De lessen kunnen thuis in of rond Den Haag zijn of indien nodig online.
De uitdagingen van online lesgeven zijn belangrijk, maar voor mensen die geen toegang hebben tot een leraar in hun stad, kan dit je echt vooruitgang laten boeken met je instrument en toegang geven tot het leren van de viola da gamba.

Hi! I am Elsa, I am 24 and I come from France. I am currently doing a jazz master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, after obtaining my classical bachelor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
I have been playing cello for 19 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra).
I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students!
Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! I can teach in english and french, and if your level is not fluent we will always find a way to communicate!

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Elsa, je suis française, j'ai 24 ans et je suis actuellement en master de jazz au Conservatorium van Amsterdam après avoir obtenu un bachelor classique au Conservatoire Royal de La Haye.
Ca fait 19 ans que je joue du violoncelle. Au fil des années j'ai joué dans beaucoup de contextes différents: musique de chambre, groupes, solo et orchestre (notament NJO et Jong Metropole).
J'adore jouer de la musique classique mais aussi du jazz, funk ou pop. J'aime jouer avec d'autre personnes, créer de la musique ensemble, improviser... J'espère que c'est quelque chose que je peux aussi transmettre à mes élèves!

Mijn naam is Héloïse, een Franse celliste en zangeres. Ik woon al twee jaar in Nederland. In juni heb ik mijn studie aan het Conservatorium van de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht afgerond en ben nu beroepsmusicus en onder andere docent cello bij het Lindenberg Centrum in Nijmegen.

Nadat ik twee jaar lang muziektheorie gaf aan een Frans conservatorium, besefte ik hoe belangrijk lesgeven voor mij is en hoe het mij helpt groeien als muzikant. Ik pas mij graag aan de leerling aan en probeer voor elke onderwijssituatie een oplossing te vinden.
Ik kan alle niveaus cello en zang lesgeven, en alle leeftijden. Ik kan ook muziektheorielessen geven.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.

I specialize in teaching piano and music when I was at conservatory where I studied for over 20 years. With 14 years of experience I found my own methods to make my students learn in a comfortable and creative environment. As a teacher who enjoys learning from student while teaching, I know how important this is to improve when growing up. As soon as my students feel safe and happy I let them putting their own ideas in their development.
