Formación
I hold both a Diploma in Music and a B.A. in Music from the University of Nigeria, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Music Education at the University of British Columbia. Over the years, my students have achieved excellent results in ABRSM and Trinity College London exams, and many have grown into confident, expressive performers.
Experiencia / Calificaciones
I have over seven years of experience teaching music, spanning multiple countries and diverse learning environments. My journey began in Nigeria, where I worked with students of all ages in schools and private studios, helping them build strong foundations in piano, saxophone, and music theory.
Seeking to expand my horizons, I moved to Dubai, where I taught in a variety of school settings and music studios. There, I gained extensive experience in structured classroom teaching, individualized lessons, and exam preparation for students pursuing ABRSM and Trinity College London certifications. Working with students from different cultural backgrounds strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs.
Throughout my career, I have taught in:
• Private music studios – providing one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s goals
• School programs – leading group lessons, ensembles, and music classes
• Exam preparation – guiding students to achieve excellent results in ABRSM and TCL exams
