This class is for basic mathematics and english as well as writing poems and essays. I believe that it is simple to learn without memorization but just understanding . I will provide enjoyment and creativity with the students and also some challenges that they will like as math is. I will provide homework as their assurance that they learn something new and will be ready on the next lesson and for that i give them grades and certificate that they did well.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2017 I have assisted students from different study backgrounds (from civil engineering to psychology) with writing their thesis and since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and I teach private students.

Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location.

I believe anyone can learn math. And with an average rating of 8.5 for my exam training at, among others, lyceo, I have experienced a lot of others doing the same.

We usually start with some (simple) exercises around the subject to gauge your understanding. This way I can construct a tailor-made approach that guarantees you will see the light. There are, of course, no real guarantees in education. But I can guarantee that after every hour of tutoring, you will be a little closer to the math genius that you really are.

In addition, in the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience in online education. I now have a drawing tablet, an iPad, and an external microphone (worth 300 euros) to be able to deliver the best experience online.

Hey! My name is Yasmin, I was born in Denmark, mainly raised in the Netherlands, but moved more than 14 times to different countries and cities. I have always attended an international school and received my Bachelor's degree in English & Pre-Law from the University of California Santa Barbara last summer. I have decided to continue my studies and am currently studying international & European law.
I provide English tutoring where we can focus together on whatever you need, such as: writing, speaking, writing essays and creative writing. I can also help with homework or help with public speaking and giving presentations in English, of course. It is important to me that you receive enough help so that you can continue with full self-confidence.

Mathematics, physics and arithmetic are subjects that many people have difficulty with. I believe that with good guidance, anyone can get a good grade for these subjects. During the lessons we look at what the stumbling points are, which I will then explain in the best possible way what is clearest for the student. Exact subjects can be made much easier by applying handy tricks. During the lessons I will convey this in the clearest possible way. Everyone thinks differently and I take that into account. Together we will see what works best for you!

Working with numbers can be a lot of fun and I would like to pass that on to others!

If you are struggling with a specific subject, we can look together at what you are good at and what we can best focus on during the sessions. A few subjects that I have coached students in in the past are: mathematics, business economics, economics, arithmetic, accounting/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, corporate finance, risk management and investments. I give tips on which information is most important, how you can best prepare for the subject, and how you can best read test questions. This method has proven to be very effective!

During my sessions I coach almost everyone! From pupils at the vmbo to (almost) graduates at the university, in all financial-economic subjects. Because of this I have developed a coaching structure that is effective, efficient, and fun.

During exam training I work with old exams with a focus on the latest developments in the field. In this way I ensure that students get a good grip on the exam material and enter the exams with confidence. During the training I teach the students how an exam is structured so that they feel familiar with the final exam.

Tutoring or homework support are designed in consultation. Some pupils or students benefit from doing assignments together, while others need more explanation of the theory.
