Hello, I’m Elvira! I’m a CELTA qualified English tutor and native speaker from the UK. I have taught all over the world, working in schools and giving private classes in London, the English countryside, Nepal and France! I love working with students of all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.

My approach is student-centred, flexible and creative. I believe that when students enjoy their classes, they achieve their goals much quicker. So, whether you want to master English grammar or just improve your confidence in conversation, I will tailor our lessons to meet your specific learning objectives and interests. We will use a variety of materials, from traditional textbooks to authentic resources like newspaper articles, documentaries, podcasts, and music – providing you with a well-rounded understanding of English in real-world contexts.

My background is in art history and I’ve worked with a range of magazines, museums, galleries in the UK. I have an in depth knowledge of English culture and art, so, if you’re interested, I can help you understand not only the English language but also English society and culture!
