About me

I am a passionate and dedicated music teacher specializing in piano and violin instruction. With over 10 years of experience, I have worked with a wide range of students—from young beginners to adults—across schools, music academies, and higher education institutions, including universities. I focus on developing strong foundational skills in music, such as note reading, rhythm, ear training, and musical expression, tailored to each student’s pace and goals.

I hold a degree from the prestigious Yared School of Music at Addis Ababa University, where I received formal training in both performance and pedagogy. My teaching approach blends classical technique with creative and engaging methods, aiming to inspire a lifelong love of music in every student. Whether preparing students for exams, performances, or personal enjoyment, I strive to make learning music a rewarding and joyful experience.

Music is a very interesting form of art. I personally use my own music skills to relieve myself when I am hurting emotionally. I think after a certain level of playing the instruments we create a kind of connection with it, it is that kind of connection that I bring to you and your children. The feeling beyond knowledge and the satisfaction it gives, the ability to express your selves through the instrument. I am very specialized with kids and teens but I also teach adults. I teach you Music theory and help you understand what you play, I help train your ear and help you connect more with it because ears are very important in music.
