I have 10 years of experience working in mental health within a variety of settings. Including all age groups (under 18 to over 65) with many different brain disorders. These include psychiatric, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, brain injuries, as well as psychological and social problems. I am knowledgeable in cognitive psychology/ neurology/ neuroscience and specialise in ASD/ ADHD knowledge, as well as mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders incl. OCD/ PTSD, social and specific phobias. I have studied Psychology BSc at Birmingham City University and continue to develop my professional knowledge with the Open University. I am still developing my knowledge in more specialist areas such as complex trauma. I hope to also develop my knowledge in addiction/ substance misuse and domestic abuse. I have some experience of working in forensic settings.
