My joy in teaching is to see my students progress both academically and non-academically as rounded people and future citizens. Being a primary/elementary school teacher means that I get to teach a range of different subjects, dig deeply into topics, and learn something new along the way. My teaching philosophy is that “a productive classroom atmosphere is created by the teacher to enable students to feel safe and to feel that their views are heard and valued”, encouraging and challenging them to develop high-level critical and analytical thinking skills. Critical thinking is one of my strengths and high expectations for my students, as it allows them to analyze situations from different perspectives and develop innovative solutions. Problem-solving is another skill I bring to the table, enabling my students to overcome challenges and adapt to changing circumstances effectively.
