Greetings, music lovers! I'm Anas, a professional Oud player with the Syrian National orchestra of Arabic music between 2019 and 2020. I'm also a committed, passionate music teacher with 10 years of experience in teaching the Oud and oriental theory. My students describe me as an outstanding teacher with much empathy and patience. Watching my students becoming skilled Oud players has been one of my most meaningful achievements since my graduating from the conservatory in Damascus in 2017. Through my experience I’ve chosen several books which can instruct the learner with fast and effective results. I’ll provide you with a PDF for each book. During my lessons you’ll learn how to play the Oud, read the musical notation (Solfage) and understand the oriental theory, as well as learning the best strategies of practicing. I’m specialized in the main styles of the Oud performing (Arabic, Turkish, and Azeri) in addition to classical music performing on the Oud. I speak English fluently.
