I’m originally from Japan and now based in London. When I trained to become a Japanese teacher, my instructor encouraged us not to use English, even if we were able to. However, from my own experience, I believe using English can be helpful—especially for beginners or when clarification is needed. I’m flexible and happy to tailor lessons to your goals.
